We believe that education is one of the most powerful tools to break free from the cycle of poverty and build stronger future families.
Institution Chrétienne Enfants de la Promesse (ICEP) is more than a school—it’s a place of opportunity, dignity, and hope. Serving over 230 students from Pre-K through 6th grade in northern Haiti, ICEP provides quality education in a region where access is often limited.
Here are 10 direct ways you can help kick-start the 2025/26 school year:
$5 – Help one child begin the school year with the basic supplies and activity materials they need to learn.
$25 – Fill one student’s backpack with a full set of schoolbooks for the year and build excitement for the upcoming year of learning.
$40 – Ensure a child with special needs receives therapy each month—a unique service at our school that few others provide.
$50 – Fully outfit a student with a new, locally made, uniform so they can show up prepared, confident, and ready to learn.
$100 – Give 1 child a strong start to the school year: a uniform, schoolbooks, access to education and support services.
$250 – Stock one classroom with books, supplies, and materials that encourage learning from the very first day.
$350 – Support a Haitian teacher with salary and classroom resources and remind them they’re not alone in their important work.
$500 – Support special ed teachers and therapy services that help children with disabilities learn, grow, and belong.
$1,000 – Boldly cover 1 month of medical care for all students and staff, ensuring every child stays healthy and learning.
$5,000 – Help fuel the first few months of learning for dozens of students: from teacher salaries and classroom materials to school activities and therapy support that gives children of all abilities the opportunity to learn.
School Funding & How You Can Get Involved: At ICEP, we believe that when families contribute, they’re more deeply invested in their child’s education. That’s why we ask families to pay a small tuition fee. However, 95% of the school’s operating costs are funded by generous donors, school partners, corporate sponsors, and churches who believe in bringing inclusive, Christ-centered education to vulnerable children in northern Haiti.
